How do you clean artificial grass?

Our artificial grass products are hard-wearing and extremely low maintenance. However, there are a few things you can do to clean the grass and keep it looking its best all year round. You can do this by brushing and hosing the grass. Check out our maintenance page for more information.

Is artificial grass suitable for pets?

Yes! We have artificial grass applications that are ideal for your furry friends to frolic upon and safely enjoy. They also include odour reducing layers, which means that if your pet goes to the toilet on the grass, it will be filtered away without leaving an unpleasant smell. Is artificial grass suitable for children?

All our artificial grass products are suitable for all the family to enjoy. This includes children thanks to the shock pads that can absorb any trips or slips your little ones may have when playing outside. How long does artificial grass last?

The length of time artificial grass lasts depends on the amount of footfall and usage it receives. Typically, you can expect it to last around 20 years. Our products provide fantastic longevity, and all come with a 10-year guarantee.

Does the size and shape of my garden matter?

We’re well-versed in tailoring our service and products specifically to every property we work with. This means that no matter the size or shape of your garden, our skilled team of technicians can ensure it’s fitted in a precise and accurate manner.

Will artificial grass get hot in the summer months?

It doesn’t get too hot. Our grasses are triple yarn grasses, meaning that the heat is contained at the base of the grass. If the summer is particularly long and hot, then we do recommend you use a water hose to keep the grass cool and moist, particularly if you have children or pets.

How do I clean up after pets on artificial grass?

With the exception of summer, when it comes to cleaning up after your pet, all you need to do is pick up the waste and hose down the area afterwards. You needn’t worry about urine, it will naturally drain away, and the colour of your artificial grass won’t fade either. In summer, however, you do need to water down the urine after your pet goes to the toilet. During this warm season, if the urine stays too long in the grass, it may begin to smell.

What artificial grass products reduce odours from pets peeing on the grass?

One of our products, Easi-zeofill, features crushed quarry stone from Nevada that absorbs in the urine and reduces the potency of odours. A layer of zeofill is fitted under the grass as well as a layer brushed into the grass on top. This reduces odours and helps with the drainage of the urine and water through the grass. The other product is the Easi-pong which, when mixed with water and applied to the grass, also helps reduce the smell of odours of the grass and helps keep it clean.

What should you do to cool down your artificial grass in extreme heat conditions?

There are multiple ways to cool down your artificial grass such as:

Our Heat-reducing infills are developed from organic volcanic ash minerals which significantly lowers the temperature of your artificial grass back down.

A garden hose or sprinkler can work wonders in cooling your artificial grass down.

Lastly, make some shade, things such as awnings, canopies, outdoor umbrellas and large plants can help massively by blocking the sun and making your garden cooler.
